Science communication
In the final year of my PhD, I realized that most of the people outside of my academic circles had only been pretending to understand, or even pay attention to, my babbling summaries about cool discoveries within cognitive science and psychology. Within this group of close friends and family, I had also nearly exhausted by vast reserve of hilarious jokes. Becoming a science communicator luckily remedied both of these ailments.
Since 2022, I have been a Digital Associate Editor for the Psychonomics Society's Featured Content blog. In my final year of grad school, I was also a student science writer for the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology.
